Foster Facts

It's very devastating to imagine there are over 11,000 foster youth in Washington State at any given time. Most of these kids don't have the opportunity to do a lot of the regular activities ordinary children do. With the vast programs we offer we hope to bring joy into the lives of foster children who have had troubling lives through no fault of their own.

The NWAFFC is very proud of the programs we offer such as the Wish Network which gives foster children the opportunity to submit a wish which may seem out of reach, or our popular Athletic Scholarship which provides foster youth with scholarships to participate in youth and high school sports activities. We are also working to add new programs such as being able to provide letterman's jackets or class rings to all high school foster children in South King and Pierce County.

We invite you to browse through the programs we offer and in addition if you know a foster child in your life or the community that would benefit from the services we provide to share our foundation with them.
